State of the Nation Address SONA Noynoy Aquino 2011

Philippine President Benigno Simeon Aquino III, known more among the Filipino people simply as Noynoy Aquino or P-Noy, will hold the annual State of the Nation Address or SONA tomorrow, July 25, 2011 during the joint session of the Philippine Congress and Senate.

Meanwhile, the Department of Education suspended elementary and high school classes in Quezon City to give way to the said State of the Nation Address 2011 (SONA) as it is expected that the event would bring heavy traffic along the area, specifically places near the Batasang Pambansa.

Again, the suspension of classes is from elementary to high school in both public and private schools.

6th consecutive win for Nobuhiro Tajima on Pikes Peak

Two days before his 61st birthday, Nobuhiro “Monster” Tajima was once again crowned King of the Mountain. His winning the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb for the sixth consecutive year on June 26 was no surprise, but his time was. He completed the 12.42-mile course in 9:51.278, becoming the first person to conquer Pikes Peak in less than 10 minutes.
